Booking and Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing our services. To ensure the highest quality experience for all our guests and to best manage the necessary resources (permits, licenses, qualified staff), we apply the following booking and cancellation policy.

We invite you to read it carefully before proceeding with your booking.

1. Booking and Payment Method

Booking Confirmation: Your booking is considered confirmed only upon completion of the payment process.
Required Deposit: At the time of booking, a deposit equal to 30% of the total amount is required. This deposit is non-refundable in all cases of cancellation by the client, as it covers initial administrative and organizational costs.
Payment Security: All payments are securely processed through our partner, Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details.
Authorization for Final Payment: By confirming your booking and accepting this policy, you explicitly authorize us to charge your card for any amounts due according to the cancellation terms outlined below.

2. Cancellation Policy

All cancellation requests must be sent in writing to the following email address: hello@diegoriggi.com. The date and time of receipt of the email will be used to determine the application of the terms.

1. Cancellation by Us Should we be forced to cancel the experience due to force majeure, or for reasons that prevent it from being conducted safely, we will offer you the choice between a 100% full refund of the amount paid or a voucher of equal value to be used for a future date.

2. Cancellation by the Client (MORE than 48 hours in advance) If you cancel your booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled date, no additional charges will be applied. The 30% deposit paid at the time of booking will be retained and is non-refundable.

3. Cancellation by the Client (LESS than 48 hours in advance) For cancellations received with less than 48 hours’ notice from the booked date (due to a change of plans or personal reasons), a penalty equal to 80% of the total cost will be applied to cover incidental expenses, licenses, and organizational costs already incurred. An additional amount of 50% will be charged, which, added to the initial deposit, constitutes the penalty.

4. No-Show In the event of a no-show on the day of the experience without any prior communication, a penalty equal to 100% of the total cost of the booking will be applied. The remaining balance of 70% will be automatically charged to your card to cover the full amount.

Important Note on Weather Conditions

The fishing activity takes place even in case of rain or non-optimal weather conditions. Our experience allows us to always find a suitable and safe fishing spot, even if this requires a drive of up to 1 hour and 30 minutes from the agreed-upon meeting point (our headquarters).

Therefore, cancellation by the client due to adverse weather forecasts or rain is not permitted. The final decision on the feasibility and safety of the experience rests solely with the guide. Any refusal by the client to participate for weather-related reasons will be considered a “No-Show” and will be subject to the corresponding 100% penalty.
